Infer timezone of call recipients

Webex Campaign infers timezone of a call recipient based on the country selected. This is useful for countries with multiple timezones, enabling administrators to manage contact timezones more accurately and efficiently. It allows precise Safe Calling Window enforcement, which helps ensure contacts are called at appropriate local hours.

Supported counties and inference methods:

  • Canada: telephone area code or postal code
  • Mexico: telephone area code
  • Brazil: telephone area code
  • Australia: postal code
  • Indonesia: postal code

Usage notes:

  • In the field mapping flow, the Source of timezone info for a contact dropdown shows options based on the country selected for the contact data.
  • For countries with multi-timezone , administrators can select the relevant derivation method based on postal code or telephone area code.
  • If a postal-code-based option is selected, the corresponding file header must also be mapped from the uploaded contact list.
  • Postal code headers for supported countries must be mapped as string data type for timezone inference to work correctly.
