Contact list Requirements & Constraints

  • A Contact list file name length cannot exceed more than 100 characters, and a contact list name can contain alphabets, numbers, and underscore(_) only.
  • Each Contact list record may have a maximum of 200 headers.
  • Each Contact list record may have a maximum of 8,000 characters (approx. 8KB).
  • You can upload a contact list of up to 250 MB using a file, and up to 1 GB through SFTP. If the file size is more than 250 MB, we recommend you split the file into smaller parts.
  • The system currently allows users to upload contact lists containing values with mismatched data types that are not defined in the field mapping. This validation is not enforced through the UI.
  • In the Manage contact list section, if any contact mode is deemed invalid, the entire record is flagged as "Invalid".
  • The "Download Contacts" option is unavailable on the following screens:
    1. Manage Contact Lists
    2. Campaign Group Details > Campaign List Screen
  • If a user pauses a campaign during the contact list processing and updates the priority attribute, the changes will apply only to new contact lists added after the modification.
  • If any Encrypted field is used in "Contact search" or "Contact selection filters" screen, then only EQUALS and IN operators are allowed.
  • A maximum of three DNC lists can be associated to a campaign.
  • Any modifications to suppression rules will not affect contacts that have already been sent to the Dialer.
  • In the Contact flow priority section, encrypted attributes are not shown in the Contact attribute field. Additionally, you cannot modify the priority attribute once a campaign has been paused.
  • PII fields with a "varchar" data type supports only the 'Equals' and 'IN' operators in the Fresh and Retry Search and Selection filters. Other PII attributes that aren't of type string will not appear in the Contact attribute field.
  • The system allows multiple call attempts to the same phone number even if it appears multiple times within a single list or across lists in the same campaign. Duplicate contacts removal is not supported.
  • Contact selection filter using date attributes rely on the system date during execution.
