Global variables

Global variables refer to the attribute values that identify a customer during calls with the agents. These attributes are configured in the control hub application. Webex Campaign will receive these variables from control hub application. At least one variable has to be made a customer unique identifier. For example, account number or customer Id.



Follow these steps to set a variable as a unique- identifier:

  1. Navigate to Voice campaigns administration and click Global variables. The screen will display all the global variables.
  2. Click on the ellipses icon of the required variable and select one of the below options:
    1. Mark this as customer-unique-identifier: The selected variable will be identified as unique identifier across all campaigns. You cannot change this in future.
    2. Mark this as account-unique-identifier: The selected variable will be identified as account identifier across all campaigns. You cannot change this in future.
  3. Click Confirm.
